A Gift overdue

In a world full of selfishness, I found a selfless person who besides being from the same world, has a very different and intriguing aspect of life. When I got into Punjab University, I thought it was my biggest achievement yet (which was true actually). But the real work starts from where we reach our dream. Being a fine student with a lot of curiosity, intelligence, and leadership qualities, I was given the responsibility of the class representative irrespective of the tradition of giving it to a student who stands up in the merit. Here I met Mubara Sharif. A charismatic and full of life class fellow who coincidentally happened to from the same city from I am. She is the person who has helped me, in and every moment of my time at the university and ever after. Whenever I had any doubts or I was in a situation of trouble, she was there to help me morally and support me emotionally. There were times during my studies when I had so much workload of managing university events, times when I thought to give up in disappointment from my fellow team members, but every time she comes to me clears the fog in my mind so I would be able to see the things clearly.

To acknowledge all the care and support I received from her, this is a tiny teeny gesture from me to her.

I know that there is nothing I can do to compensate for the time, care, attention, and support you gave to me, but perhaps this is the thing cool about friendship that we don’t trade the things or emotions, we give them for the sake of betterment of our friends. Not all the friendship quotes in the world can describe the bond between us and the awesomeness and craziness of you. But to sum up the thing, I have this.
